I had an appreciable experience with MoveSafe Relocation though out the complete operation from Birmingham, AL to Wilmington, NC. Emailing was immensely quick and efficient, the rates were the best among all of the moving business I got quotes from, without any weird fees and very crystal clear on what was being charged. The movers were very competent, they arrived at my apartment too early than expected, and they were very quick. There were 3 movers and they finished the entire move in 3.5 hours, and all of my plants (I had over 30) made it to their new home securely! Would certainly recommend!

Original quote gave no indication of the cancelation policy.

When I was on the phone with Tyler the sales guy he had sent me a link to sign the quote that I was looking at and then they sent me another quote with the same price. He told me that nothing changed in the quote and then I shouldn’t worry and then I just needed to sign it and then I can cancel any time because I told him specifically that May not be able to move at the time that I had originally specified because it was dependent on a few moving parts . he reassured me over the phone while I was looking at the original quote that he sent me that nothing had changed and that they would allow me to cancel at any time. Well, once you sign the documentation all of a sudden you get a copy of the quote and that one has the cancellation policy on it. Well when you actually go to Kann, they want you to call them but then when you call them they want you to put it in writing and then you’re stuck in a loop of calling and putting things in writing. You also have to deal with them constantly calling you and trying to up charge you . Different phone calls from different people all trying to scam me out of different amounts. All from the same company. They are extremely rude after you sign the contract. And I mean EVERYONE is rude.

Where do I begin?

1. They sub contract all their moves. Our movers were 3 middle eastern men that couldn’t speak English.

2. The drivers got lost and I had to travel 1.5 hours to get them and bring them to my home.

3. Once they arrived at the house, they were incredibly rude to my wife and told her that there was too much stuff and that they wouldn’t be moving it.

4. Once they got done shouting at their boss (another middle easterner), they decided we would owe them $13,000. Their original quote WITH A DETAILED LIST OF ITEMS, was around $4,000. This was on TOP of the amount we had to pay Move Safe (around $4500). We settled on $6300 and they STILL did NOT take everything they were paid to take!!!

5. They then played basketball on my son’s basketball hoop and chose to stand around for 3 hours before they did anything. Then decided to come back the next day to fill the truck up.

6. Once they left the house with a full truck, they decided to change the plans and deliver next day. They texted me at 11:00pm and told me they would be in town at 4am and that they wanted to deliver early. I left work at noon the next day to meet them. They then told me they were a hours away. 4.5 HOURS LATER THEY SHOWED UP!

7. They unpacked the truck like they were in a huge hurry. Then bullied me into signing an insurance waiver. AT THIS POINT I JUST WANTED THEM TO LEAVE!

8. Once I began unpacking, I realized that they had picked up boxes that specifically said “DO NOT TOUCH, MOVER DO NOT TAKE! FRAGILE” Guess what, my wife’s snow globes, family heirloom glassware, ALL DESTROYED! SHATTERED! Irreplaceable items!

9. Now when I am trying to call back Movesafe to complain, they’ve left me on hold for 30 minutes so far!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! SCAM ARTISTS!!!

Let me start by saying that they are so customer-oriented over the phone that you fall into their trap. You are doomed if you do not have money to buy extra insurance.

According to the first person who sold me the service, the moving company would pack for me and then stage my furniture in the new house. After the worst moving experience I ever had, with most of my stuff broken or damaged, all they said was, "I'm sorry for your experience. You did not buy extra insurance; all we can give you is 150 dollars; that is our responsibility."

The movers we got were utterly unprofessional; they did not know how to pack anything. The TV boxes I paid for never made it, and by the way, they do not stage anything, so while watching in disdain my stuff getting out of that truck either broken or damaged, the movers told us they do not stage anything that those were promises from the broker to sell us the service.

Since then, Move Safe Relocation has stopped using those movers due to multiple complaints. However, they never took responsibility for connecting us with them nor offered anything to alleviate the financial burden and the emotional distress that this provided to my family. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT use this company unless you want to be scammed out of thousands of dollars!

Absolutely horrible experience -- from beginning to end.

MoveSafe sales reps and customer service reps are script-trained scammers who work on commission, baiting customers with over-the-phone inventories/estimates and "discounts" for military veterans and others.

MoveSafe is NOT a moving company -- they are moving brokers who take thousands of dollars as a "deposit" and then subcontract with shifty, no-name local movers who then demand thousands of dollars more to complete your move.

MoveSafe "relocation specialists" and "customer service" reps are additionally trained scammers. They won't help you with anything; they just give you a runaround and blame the poor schleps they subcontract to move your things.

TOTAL SCAM!

I have been recognized and have much traffic through my very fair and honest reviews, both in negative, as well as positive experiences. Per our experience, along with what I’ve read from many others, this one by far takes the NEGATIVE cake. They will reel you in with a lowball quote (after you’ve explained in detail what is to be expected and what will be shipped), change arrival times on you more than once, and can not provide a definite date that your items will arrive at destination. (If you would be so bold as to take a chance on these swindlers, be sure to re-check the quote price BEFORE having your items loaded onto the truck (as we luckily did), as our quote was nowhere near the ballpark originally shared, but an ADDITIONAL $3000. Needless to say, we turned them away, but at this point, I would not be surprised if they also attempt to keep the pricey (25%)deposit. The website also shared that packaging/wrapping is included in the price, but that also was not the case. Turns out that per our experience and research, they are the most pricey while offering the least amount of (unprofessional) service. Run, and save yourself time, money and the aggravation. In hopes that this post will keep another unsuspecting person/people from having the same experience. You will surely be better off choosing any other mover

If there is below 0 rating they are far below that .First they won't tell you they are BRoKER so that means they will find you a movers second they will quote you a nice number but don't be fooled those numbers are double even triple than what they say, second they will give you therun around and will tell you different things and when you tell them to cancel they will not give you your deposit back even before they even move your stuff ... they find a real movers to move your stuff that will charge you more than they quote you and you have really no choice to change it then goodluck trying to get your stuff because that's another issue and when you call different person will tell you different things its really frustrating and you just run from one problem plus cost everyime Amanda tells you different than Michael and the guy who I talk to when I hire them was no where to be found ... Please save your self headache frustrations money DO NOT I SAID NEVER EVER GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY #SCAM SCAM #MOVESAFERELOCATION IS THE BIGGEST #SCAM......

Crew from MoveSafe Relocation were meticulously professional, tremendously efficient, and completely no fuss, at a very reasonable rate! You're just charged entrenched on how long it takes for them to move and they do not squander any time. No nonsense about being charged fee for stuff you didn't tell them about, just a non-nonsense and cause hourly rate. The employees was very eager to please and professional all over the moving process from Show Low, AZ to Nashville, TN . Really recommend!

I do not recommend using this company if you have a big move like we had. If I could give a negative star I would. When we called for a quote, we were told if we booked today we get so much off. That's how they rope you in. They quoted us way lower than the actual cost. The moving company that picked up or stuff was Sala Moving and Storage out of New Jersey. They kept moving the pick up date, then they were 6 hours late. They loaded into a penske truck that had another customers stuff in it. We asked if our stuff would be moved out to get to the other clients stuff and he said no. It took 12 days for our stuff to arrive. They called and said they would be there between 6pm and 9pm. They arrived around 5pm and the truck was not the same truck they loaded our stuff into. For the final payment, he gave us a different zelle account than the one we sent money to pay at pick up. Our bank put the payment on hold due to fraud suspicion. They would not give us our stuff until they had payment. Luckily, we were able to block the zelle payment, and then paid in cash. When they opened the truck I saw damaged boxes. There was a small tub broken that had barbies and barbie accessories in it that was broken and toy pieces scattered on the floor of the truck. The fridge was scratched up and dent, looked almost brand new prior. The patio furniture scratched up and damaged. Of course, prior to them packing the truck, you have to sign a contract that states their moving company is not liable for damages. They also tried to give us stuff from the other clients items that was in the truck. After they were finished unpacking, the mover asked for a tip. We told him we were not happy with their services. Everything about this was awful. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. You would be MUCH better off renting a uhaul and moving it yourself. And it probably would be cheaper.

I really had a good experience using this company and I would recommend them to anyone. Move safe made our move a seamless transition. They were transparent from the start about being a broker, so I was fully aware of what to expect. I valued the clear communication regarding who would be managing my move. I reserved enough space on a semi-truck, and there were no unexpected fees, which was a huge relief. I think the key is to provide an accurate inventory to avoid additional charges. Overall, it was a simple, no-nonsense experience, which was exactly what I needed for my cross-country relocation. MoveSafe made the process hassle-free.

I've used MoveSafe Relocation two times in the previous year (once from a second floor apartment to a storage unit and once from a storage unit to a fifth floor stroll up). I have just extraordinary comments about them! I don't recollect who was in my group the initial time, however this subsequent time was 3 men group. They arrived as expected, didn't waste any time getting to work or getting to the SUBSEQUENT AREA, and they were extremely informative. They got all my furniture up to the fifth floor like bosses, collected everything, and even took extra pre-watchfulness to try not to get a stopping ticket. Ideally I will not be moving again at any point in the near future, however assuming that I was, I would employ them once more.

Brief, inconceivably productive, open, and supportive. They were accessible last moment, and saved me in a last moment move. These guys moved us from a second story walkup to a fourth story walkup. They needed to dismantle and reproduce an IKEA bed, a love seat, a television stand, and a peloton bicycle in addition to other things. They worked effectively. They were on time and extremely proficient. They moved things cautiously and as proficiently as could really be expected. They initially gave a two hour gauge however the work turned out to be four. They obviously conveyed cost changes as the gig continued and costs were cutthroat with different movers nearby. Would suggest MoveSafe Relocation and his guys for your move.

We have had to move a couple of times and it's definitely no picnic. We used MoveSafe Relocation for our move this time. Nick was our broker and he walked me through everything, answered any questions I had, and shared guidelines to make sure I didn't pay any unnecessary charges or fees. I liked that we were able to pick and choose which services we needed. I'd call it a customized move, which we hadn't really experienced before. The whole process was streamlined and surprisingly stress free.

This company is a broker who do not honor their contracts. We had read all the negative reviews about the movers increasing their price once they arrive to move your items, but we were assured by our Sales Representative that as long as we had an accurate list of items to be moved, the price would not go up. We ensured our list was accurate after packing, however, when the movers arrived they wanted $2K-$3K more. We advised them to just pack the items that were on our list and they refused. Then the moving company said that it could take 38 days for items to be delivered when MoveSafe said 2-5 days. MoveSafe failed to get the movers to pack our items and refused to issue us a refund. Please learn from our mistake and do not book this company. There are other brokers out there that will honor their contract/commitments.
